WEBSTER — Ann D. (Beresik) Szczepaniak, 93, formerly of 18 Cutler Street, died Wednesday, June 22, in Oakwood Rehabilitation and Convalescent Center. Her husband, Bernard L. Szczepaniak, died in 1974.
She leaves two sons, Bernard M. Szczepaniak of Bethlehem, NH and Stephen Szczepaniak of Webster; a daughter, Alice Bugbee of Dudley; two brothers, Adam Beresik of Dudley and Lawrence Beresik of Pt. Pleasant Beach, NJ; 3 sisters, Josephine Minarik of Webster, Sophie Slota and Margaret Jezierski of Dudley; 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Barbara A. Cyganiewicz, who died in Dec. of 2004, a grandson Kenneth J. Bugbee, who died in 2003 and 3 brothers, John, Joseph and Stephen Beresik
She was born in Dudley, a daughter of Dominic and Sofia (Kopas) Beresik and lived in here for 70 years.
Mrs. Szczepaniak worked as an inspector for Bates Shoe for many years before retiring in 1974. She enjoyed crocheting. She was a member of Saint Joseph Basilica.
The funeral will be held Saturday, June 25, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home,
340 School St, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb St. Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace. Calling hours are from 6:00 to 8:00 Friday evening at the funeral home.
