New Bedford- Donald L. Cordeiro died Tuesday June 21,2005 at Home unexpectedly.He was the Husband of Shirley M.(Rebello) Cordeiro and the Father of Stephen P.Cordeiro and his wife Marie of Barrington, R.I., Brian D. Cordeiro and his wife Becky Fleisch- of Bridgewater, Ma. and Gail Smith of New Bedford, Ma. He was the loving Grandfather of Patricia Cordeiro-Purmoki, Craig Cordeiro, Bryanne Cordeiro, Brent Cordeiro, Aaron Smith, Dalla Smith and Eric Smith. He was also survived by several Cousins and many Friends
Mr. Cordeiro was the son of the late Tobias and Mary (Domingos) Cordeiro. He was born in New Bedford and lived here all of his life. He was a Office Manager at Gilt Edge, and formerly a Comptroller at Gulf Hill Dairy and A+H Manurfacturing. Mr. Cordeiro was a Sargeant during the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Cordeiro’s Funeral Mass will be Saturday June 25, 2005 at St. John the Baptist Church in New Bedford; Visiting hours will be Friday June 24, 2005 from 5 to 8 P.M.. Burial will be at St. John Cemetery.
