Obituary

Ethel Arlene Mauch, 91, of Anderson died on February 17, 2016 at Elmcroft of Muncie following a 2 year illness.

She was born on September 30, 1924 in Liberal, Kansas to Millard and Ethel (White) Akers.

She was an elementary school teacher for 15 years and then she worked as a secretary for the Indianapolis Schools. She and her late husband, Rev. Maurice J. Mauch pastored in churches in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and South Dakota. She attended East Side Church of God and the Bible Study Fellowship. She was very dedicated to the Church of God Ministries and to her family. She enjoyed mission trips with the Church of God.

She is survived by 2 sons, Ed (Janice) Mauch of Gunnison, CO and Phillip (Kimberly) Mauch of Auburn, CA; a son-in-law, Roger Beeson of Anderson; 2 grandchildren, Rodney (Lisa) Beeson of Anderson and Ryan (Nicki) Beeson of Lapel; 4 great-grandchildren, Ashley Beeson, Hailee Beeson, Macy Beeson, and Mavrick Beeson; a sister-in-law, Pearl Akers of Louisanna;and several nieces and nephews.

She preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rev. Maurice J. Mauch; a daughter, Maureen Dee Beeson; 3 brothers, Donald Akers, Richard Akers and Alfred Akers; and 2 sisters, Fannie Goldy, and Nellie Countryman.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30am Friday, February 26, 2016 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Don Smith, Dr. Kerry Robinson, and Rev. Marvin Baker officiating. The burial will take place in Vinson Cemetery in Summitville, IN.

Visitation will be held from 9:30am-10:30am Friday at the funeral home.
