Anne I. (Stadtler), 83, of Pawcatuck, formerly of North Stonington and Oakdale, Long Island, NY; died June 18th, 2005.
Mrs. Seal was a longtime volunteer at the Mystic Seaport as a docent scrimshaw interpreter, and was a member of the North Stonington Historical Society and the Mystic Women’s Club. She was also a member of the Hudson, OH Chapter of the O.E.S. which she joined at age 24.
She moved to North Stonington from Long Island in 1973 and later moved to Pawcatuck in 1995.
She is survived by her four children, Lynn D. Seal of Sayville, NY, Linda L. Collins of Perris, CA, Holly A. Kunicki of Forest Hills, NY, and Robert F. Seal of Pasadena, CA; 5 grandchildren, Cindy Sherman of Post Falls, Idaho, John Seal of London, England, Wendy Wilson of Rathdrum, Idaho, Suzanne Jones of Sayville and Steven Kunicki of Forest Hills; 11 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband, Reed E. Seal in 1991.
Her family will greet relatives and friends at The Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Historic downtown Mystic on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8pm with a service immediately following at 8pm. Burial will be in Rocky River, OH on June 25th. Donations in her memory may be made to the Old Mystic United Methodist Church, 44 Main Street, Old Mystic CT 06372.
