Ann O. (Perito) Meconiates, 82, of Medway, died Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at the Maryann Morse Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Natick. She was the wife of the late Rudolph Meconiates.
Born in Boston on August 2, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Valentino and Grace (Giacoppo) Perito.
A resident of Medway since 1960, Mrs. Meconiates also resided in Bermuda from 1984-1992.
While living in Bermuda she worked for the US Navy in the recreation department. She was also a waitress at several Medway area restaurants for many years.
Mrs. Meconiates was a communicant of St. Joseph Church and was a member of the Catholic Daughters Court St. Joseph.
She is survived by her children, Donna Meconiates of Milford, Janice Kopacz of Arizona, Anthony Meconiates and his wife Kelly of Franklin, Lynn Orns of Florida, her grandchildren, Ann, Sarah, Nicole, Anthony, Katrina, Brian, Cayla, Jordan and her great-granddaughter Maya.
She is also survived by her sister Mary Mattei of Plymouth and was the sister of the late Guy, Leo and John Perito and Rita Spinosa.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Tuesday, February 16 at 9:15 a.m. from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) followed by a funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, 151 Village St. in Medway at 10 a.m.
Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery in Medway at a later date.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4 - 8 p.m.
