MYSTER (NEE:BRUHN) ARLENE W
BELOVED WIFE, MOTHER AND GRANDMOTHER
Arlene was born in Elgin, ND on August 12, 1940.
She went to heaven surrounded by her loving family on February 8th, 2016
After a courageous battle with ALS.
Arlene is preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Joanna Bruhn
and brother Mark Bruhn.
She survived by her loving husband of 53 years Thomas
her sons Alan (Dorothy) and Brent (Julie) and
Granddaughter Mallory.
Also, so many family and friends from all over the US.
Arlene went to nursing school and worked as a RN in
Bismarck, ND and Elgin, ND. After working as a RN
she was a homemaker and did a lot of sewing for family
and also did alterations including working on wedding gowns.
Arlene had so many talents from sewing to making her beautiful
cards. Her love of gardening would keep her busy for hours.
She also loved to feed and watch many of the birds that
would visit her back yard.
Arlene was a avid volunteer for her church and for the
local food shelf. She loved both so very much
but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
We want to give a special Thank You to St. Croix Hospice
and The Seasons of Maplewood and the ALS association for taking such wonderful care of our wife and mother.
A celebration of life we be held on February 15 at 11 am
At St Mark Lutheran Church 2499 N Helen St, North St Paul, MN
Visitation at 10am and service at 11am.
Interment at Evergreen Cemetery, Mahtomedi, MN
Luncheon to follow the interment.
