Frances C. Pantano, passed away at the Melrose- Wakefield Hopital following an extended illness. The wife of the late Daniel L. Pantano, she was 94 years of age.
Born in Boston she was the daughter of the late Maria Concetta (D´Amato) and Benedetto Marchitelli.Mrs. Pantano devoted herself to her family and grandchildren, she was an accomplished pianist, who loved to cook for her family, Frances settled in Somerville over 60 years ago, active with the Somerville Sr. Citizens she enjoyed her indepedence.
She is survived by her two daughters Gilda Antolini of Medford and Beatrice Bacon of Centerville. Also seven loving grandchildren and fifteen loving great grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral home 306 Main St. Medford on Friday, May 17, at 10 a.m., followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church 118 High St. Medford at 11. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
Visiting Hours at the funeral home on Thursday, 4 thru 8 p.m.
