Michael J. Connolly, a 14 year resident of Revere and formerly of Charlestown, entered into eternal life suddenly on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at his home in Revere. He was 64 years old.
Mike was born in Boston on June 28, 1951, a son of the late John J. Connolly and Fern (Titcomb) Connolly. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated at St. Francis De Sales Parochial School and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1969. Mike worked several jobs in the construction business throughout his life. He enjoyed watching all Boston sports teams and loved animals. Mike took great pride and enthusiasm in all of his nieces and nephews and their activities.
Mike is the devoted brother of Paula Prince and her husband Richard of Charlestown, Fern Connolly of Bourne, Jo-Ann Connolly-White of Charlestown, John J. Connolly Jr. and his wife Lorrinda of Bucksport, Maine and Karen Connolly of Charlestown. He is the loving companion of Jane Murphy. He is the loving uncle to Richie, Katie, Ryan, MacKenzie, E.J., Noelle, Sam, Eric, Fern Rose and also Cassidy and Gregory.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mike's visiting hours on Friday, February 12, 2016 from 3 to 7 P.M. with his Funeral Service at 6:30 P.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. His burial will be private.
