Obituary

DANVERS - Frieda E. (Potter) Regensburg, 91, of Danvers, wife of the late John A. Regensburg, died Friday evening, June 17, 2005 in the Beverly Hospital following a brief illness.

Born in Merchantville, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth (Wurster) Potter. Mrs Regensburg lived in New Jersey until moving to Danvers in 1982.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed in the Law Office of Schantz & Trop in Haddonfield, NJ. Before that time, she and her late husband owned and operated Jack Regensburg’s Hunting and Fishing Store in Haddonfield.

She was a member of the Middleton Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses and was a life secretary of the Delaware Valley Earth Science Society, an organization headquartered in New Jersey.

She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Harold Demeule of Danvers, one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Denise Regensburg of Palermo, NJ, four grandchildren, Robert Demeule of Waterford, CT, Debra and her husband Richard Lawrence and Diane and her husband David Tilly, all of Danvers, Michael and his wife Debra Demeule of Merrimac, four great grandchildren, one brother, George and his wife Marian Potter of Collingswood, NJ, one sister Betty Castiglia of Rye, Colorado, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Dorothy Grose, Mildred Ellis, Claire Dilkes and Caroline Potter.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 20, 2005 at 7 pm at the Saugus Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 6 Kingdom Way, Saugus. Relatives and friends invited to attend.
