Manchester– Therese G. Massey, 86, died peacefully on February 2, 2016 at Maple Leaf Healthcare Center with her loving children at her side.
Born in Manchester NH on September 23, 1929, she was the daughter of Leo and Yvonne (Routhier) Gelinas.
She worked for Catholic Charities taking care of infants until they were adopted by loving families.
She worked for Elliot Hospital for many years as an LNA.
She held membership in the Association Canado– Americaine and the Post 79 Women’s Auxiliary.
She was co-owner of Bert’s Market and worked along side her loving husband for many years.
She was married for 50 years to the love of her life, Bertrand, who predeceased her in November of 2013.
Family members include her son Robert and his wife, Kathryn of Nashua, and one daughter, Louise Lambert and her husband, Wayne of Goffstown.
The family would like to thank the staff at Maple Leaf Healthcare Center for there dedicated care and compassion.
Calling hours will be on Thursday from 6 to 8 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 AM in Ste. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave.
Committal prayers will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
