Obituary

Greenfield - Wilma Marcelline Cramer was born July 30, 1927 in Greenfield, Massachusetts. She passed away on January 26th, 2016 in the very house she was born in which was her wish. Her parents were William Henry Cramer and Louise (Alber) Cramer.
She was pre-deceased by her sisters Helen Johnson, Elaine Pettit, and Evelyn Yusko. She is survived by her nephew William Yusko of Raeford, NC. She is survived by her godson William Bourbeau, his wife Margaret and son Adam of Greenfield who were like family to her. Additionally by her goddaughter Melissa (Bourbeau) Penfield, her husband Mark and children Kayla White and Mitchell Penfield.
She worked for the New England Telephone company which would eventually become Verizon starting in 1955 and retiring in May of 1986.
During her retirement years she spent her time babysitting for her godchildren’s children when they were young. In her early years of retirement she spent time volunteering driving cancer patients to appointments. For the last 10 years she volunteered at the Baystate Franklin Medical Center in the Mammography department.
She also enjoyed gardening and working around her yard.
As was her wish she donated her body to the UMass Medical School Anatomical Gift Program to further medical education and research. There will be no calling hours. At a later date there will be services at the Congregation of Grace Church in Turners Falls, MA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the church. Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester is assisting the family with arrangements.
