Alojzy "Alex" Rybicki,79, of 19 Browning Pond Rd., died Wednesday,
June 15 at home.
He leaves his wife of 53 years, Alina T. (Kowalczyk) Rybicki, three sons
Stanley D. Rybicki of No.Brookfield, Bernard A. and his wife Sue Rybicki of
Worcester and Paul S. and his wife Jill Rybicki of Spencer, a daughter Lucy
T. Puzo of Manchaug, six grandchildren, Jessica Puzo, Michael and Julie
Rybicki, Nathaniel, Hanna and Emily Rybicki, a great grandson Tristen
Rybicki and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Rybicki was a machinist maintenance man for Owens Illinois Corp. in
Worcester for 14 years, retiring in 1987. He was a member of St. Columba's
Church in Paxton. Mr. Rybicki served as a paratrooper for the Royal Armed
Forces of England during WWII.
Born in Grudzadz, Poland he was the son of Bernard and Leokadia (Molketen)
Rybicki and lived in Worcester from 1968-83 before moving to Spencer. He
previously lived in England for many years.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, June 21 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON
FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St.
Columba's Church, 18 Richards Ave., Paxton. Burial will follow in Worcester
County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Monday, June 20 from 5 to
8p.m.
