Worcester- Ann F. (Desavage) Sliwoski, 81, of 13 Dorrance St., died Wednesday, June 15, in St. Vincent Hospital.
She leaves her husband of 55 years, Joseph J. Sliwoski; two sons, Paul J. Sliwoski and Steven J. Sliwoski, both of Leicester; four daughters, Patricia A. Dickson of Worcester, Nancy M. Averi of Fredericksburg, VA, Diane M. Pickover of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and Christine A. Peterson of Leicester; a brother, James Desavage of Worcester; two sisters, Beatrice Wiwatowski of Worcester and Virginia Laskowski of Eastham; five grandchildren; nephews and nieces. Another son, Edward P. Sliwoski, died in 1986. She was also predeceased by five brothers and five sisters, Adolph, Joseph, John, Stephen, Michael, Helen, Julia, Mary, Irene, and Aldona. She was born in Worcester, daughter of John and Anna (Zuromski) Desavage and lived here all her life.
Mrs. Sliwoski was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish and it’s Women’s Guild. She volunteered there in many capacities, including the weekly Bingo. She was also an auxiliary member of the Cherry Valley American Legion Post 443.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, jigsaw puzzles, bowling, and Bingo.
The funeral will be held Saturday, June 18, from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 600 Cambridge St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
