Obituary

Joyce St. Amand, 72, of Nottingham, NH, formerly of Derry, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 27, 1943 in Derry and was a daughter of the late, RE and Mary (Cody) Webber. Joyce was raised and educated in Derry and was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy. She was a lifelong resident of Derry prior to relocating to Nottingham 7 years ago.
Mrs. St. Amand was the founder of Chalet Modelique Modeling School, which became the largest agency of its kind in New England. She also was the owner of Oh Joy Exotics aviary, which specialized in Macaws. Joyce also traveled the world, visiting 22 countries with her beloved husband of 50 years.
She is survived by her son, Norman St. Amand and his wife, Robin; her daughter, Brenda St. Amand; six grandchildren, Jason, Dustin, Jared, Shannon, Bryanna and Billy. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, Jesse, Kaitlyn and Alanna. She was predeceased by her husband, Clarence “Vic” St. Amand in 2013, her brother Eddie Webber and sister, Marlene Hanson.
A graveside service was held Friday, January 29, 2016 at 2 pm in Forest Hill Cemetery of East Derry.
