Robert J. Czajkowski, 69 of 71 North Brookfield Rd., died
Wednesday, June 15 at his home after a long illness. He leaves his wife of
43 years, Julia A. (O'Sullivan) Czajkowski, a son, David M. Czajkowski of
Ware, a daughter, Carol A. McCue of Spencer, two grandchildren, Jacob &
Kailyn McCue. He was pre-deceased by a brother, Alphonse Czajkowski in 1982.
Born in Worcester, he was the son of Alphonse & Gladys (Witowski) Czajkowski
and lived there before moving here in 1979. Mr. Czajkowski was a self
employed photographer for over 40 years and owned and operated R.J.
Czajkowski Photographers. He was a graduate of Classical High School,
Quinsigimond College and Worcester State College all in Worcester. He was an
Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Holy Rosary Church
in Spencer and was a CCD teacher and eucharistic minister there. He was a
member of the Spencer American Legion. He was a Boy Scout Leader, Troop 116,
and was staff photographer for the Boy Scouts of America. He was a HAM radio
operator and an avid hunter and bowler.
The funeral will be held Saturday, June 18 from the J. HENRI MORIN & SON
FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the
Rosary Church, 7 Church St. Burial with military honors will be in Worcester
County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be Friday from 6-8 p.m. in
the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either
