LACONIA – Beverly E. Smith, 82, of 318 Mechanic Street, died Tuesday, December 22, 2015 in her home after a long illness.
She was born on April 11, 1933 in Laconia, the daughter of the late Ray E. and Eleanor (LeClaire) Bunnell. For Beverly, her family was everything. She lived for her grandchildren. She loved family gatherings and the sights and sounds of having her large family together. She enjoyed crochet and loved the color red. She especially liked car rides to the mountains.
She is survived by her four sons; George C. “Scott” Smith and his wife Arlene of Epsom, Carl R. Smith of Laconia, Randy S. Smith of Laconia and Donald G. Smith and his wife Jennifer of Laconia, five daughters; Carolyn A. Hilson of Laconia, Cheryl Ray McNeil and her husband Charles of Penacook, Linda Ellsworth and her husband Jeff of Belmont, Vicki Smith and her significant other Lee Robinson of Rochester and June Nugent and her husband David of Gilford, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, two sisters; Raelene Gamblin of Louisville, KY and Sally Ash of Franklin, one sister-in-law, Betty Butler and her husband Jack of Belmont and her special friend, Brenda Osgood of Laconia. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, George C. Smith, her daughter, Gail Smith and one brother, Jack Bunnell.
There will be no calling hours.
A graveside service will be held in the spring at St. Lamberts cemetery in Laconia.
