Philip Dwayne "Phil" Shultz, Sr.

Philip Dwayne "Phil" Shultz, Sr., 61 of Anderson died January 20, 2016 at his residence after an extended illness.
Philip was born in Elwood May 25, 1954 the son of the late Jackie Ronald Shultz and Joanna Margaret (Fisher) Shultz King.
He was HVAC inspector for 13 years for the City of Anderson before retiring in 2002.
He and his wife organized the Annual Kids for Kidneys walk in Anderson for the last 5 years.
He enjoyed his grandchildren, clowning and spending time with family and his dogs, Rocky and Sam.
He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Ellen (Peavler) Shultz of Anderson whom he married July 4, 1980; five children, Traci (Ronnie) Brinkley; Melissa (Scott) Arehart; Mike (Beth) Peavler; Philip (Laci) Shultz; Amy (Bryan) Flanigan.
He was a special Papaw to Matthew Shultz, Kody, Aaron and Victoria Brinkley, Tyler, Clayton and Wyatt Blades, Jordan, Blake and Lauren Arehart; Tristan, Blake and Grace Peavler; Aiden, Kian, Eelan and Quinlyn Shultz, Maverick, Brylee and Nadia Flanigan;
Also surviving are his siblings, Jim (June) Shultz; Jackie (Janette) Shultz; Rodney (Betty) Shultz; Lisa (Terry) Bond; Jacqueline (Howie) Shultz-Reynolds; Catherine (John) Smith; brother-in-law, Roger Hunter; stepfather, Bill (Jane) King; and special friends, Jerry Salyer, Jerry Heath and Mark Chambers, Candie Hileman and Katie Leas.
He was preceded in death by his, father, Jackie Shultz, mother, Joanna King; brother, Terry Shultz and sister, Karen Hunter.
Services will be 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 24 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service
with Nick Ford officiating;
Visitation will be Saturday, January 23 from 5 to 8 p.m. and Sunday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
