PRODROMOU, Thalia (Zaimes) Of Wellesley formerly of South Portland, ME, January 18, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Loucas Prodromou for 59 years. Devoted mother of Elizabeth H. Kyrou and her husband Alexandros of Bedford, Peter L. Prodromou and his wife Margaret of Winchester, Elaine C. Mavrommatis and her husband Constantinos of Winchester, and Maria P. Delaney and her husband David of Wellesley. Loving grandmother of Alec, Loucas, Sophia, Luke, Andreas, and Evangelina. Sister of Iphigenia Epina of Wellesley and the late Mary Barbalias, Vasiliki Mau, George Zaimes, Athena Germaine, and Sotirios Zaimes. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Thalia was the retired co-owner of Nanos Variety Store, South Portland, ME. Life long parishioner of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, Portland, ME.
Funeral Service in St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 57 Brown St., WESTON, Friday, Jan. 22 at 11am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visitation prior to Service from 10-11am in the church. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellesley.
