Ross Neal Miller

Ross Neal Miller 64, of Lakeland, Florida passed away peacefully and with great dignity on January 15, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.
Ross was born November 14, 1951 in Anderson, Indiana to Raymond and Betty (Smith) Miller. He graduated from Madison Heights High School in 1970 and attended Vincennes University. He was a gifted musician, author of two children’s books and a lover of nature, the ocean and travel. Ross was a skilled craftsman, a trade which afforded he and his family the opportunity to travel and live in Arizona, Nevada and California. He later retired in Florida.
Ross is survived by his three children daughter, Aimee Miller and her significant other Scott Burnett of Kansas City, Missouri, son, Cory Miller of Anderson and son, Jeremy Miller of Anderson, Indiana; his beloved grandson, Asher Ray Burnett, Kansas City, Missouri; his mother, Betty Miller, Anderson; brother and sister-in-law, Don & Jean Miller, Norman, Oklahoma; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends. He is also survived by the mother of his children, the former Tamara Fahl & his beloved pet Violet.
He was preceded in death by his loving father, Raymond Miller.
The family of Ross Miller would like to thank the staff at Lakeland Regional Hospital and a special thanks to the beautiful caretakers at Good Shepherd Hospice.
Ross’s wishes were to be cremated. A celebration of his life will be held at noon on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service in Anderson Indiana, with Rev. Gina Kirkland officiating. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service at noon.
