Dexter Peter Seearan was born on May 26, 1964 in Port of Spain, Trinidad to his loving mother Patricia (Seearan) Mitchell. In August of 1976 he and his older sister joined their mother and two younger siblings in Boston, MA.
Dexter continued his education in the Boston Public School system, graduating from Madison Park High School. After high school he began to work for Boston City Hospital as a supervising transporter. Dexter later met Melissa Andrade who is the mother of his beautiful daughters Anastasia and Kelsey.
Later in life Dexter met Lynn Mumford who became his wife, they shared many memorable years together.
Dexter had a passion for cooking and he loved to feed everyone. It didn't matter who you were, family, friends, homeless or an acquaintance, your belly would be full if you were in his presence. Dexter made his passion for cooking a career.
He was a people person, he was known as "Trini". It didn't matter where you went everyone knew him. The people who would talk about him would convey the same message "I know "Trini" for years, he's a good dude. It didn't matter who you were, he treated you as a friend unconditionally.
Dexter is survived by his wife, Lynn Mumford, his mother Patricia Mitchell, his daughters Anastasia and Kelsey Andrade, his grandchildren Kayden Andino and Khymani Andrade, his sisters Debrah Carillo and Alhia Moore, his brother Derek Mitchell, and many nieces and nephews. Dexter was the brother of the late Andy Ramjohn.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Saturday January 16 from 12-2PM in the Joseph Russo Funeral Home, 814 American Legion Highway, Roslindale.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dexter's memory to the charity of one's choice.
