Evans James Cerrillo, beloved son of Phillip and Jennifer Cerrillo, earned his heavenly wings on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Georgia Regents Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel with the Rev. Adam Hilderbrandt officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
Evan was a student at Blue Ridge Elementary and played baseball in the Miracle League at the YMCA.
In addition to his parents, Phillip and Jennifer, he is survived by a sister; Emery June Cerrillo, his grandparents; Marty and Michelle Johnson, Timothy and Sharon Edwards, Nancy Tranum, his great grandparents; June Smith and Faye and Leon Edwards, Joseph and Jill Tranum, his aunt and uncle; Andrea and Joey Hurley, great aunt and uncle; Linda and Randy Vandergriff, as well as his cousins; Lily and Eli Hurley and Angela, Tristen and Randall Vandergriff.
The family would like to thank all of Evan’s doctors, teachers, therapists, friends, Team Evan supporters, and especially Dr. Gary Billingsley, for the love and compassion shown to Evan throughout his life.
