Barbara Ann Crum, 90, passed away Monday, January 11, 2016 at the Lawrence and Memorial Hospital with her family by her side.
Barbara was born April 4, 1925 in Altoona, PA, the daughter of the late James Vernon and Gertrude (Patton) Geist.
She married James N. Crum March 20, 1948 in Holidaysburg, PA. He passed away July 9, 1999.
Barbara is survived by her daughters Linda Ann Wassum and husband Wayne, Sherry Crum, and Nancy Parry and husband David, by her grandchildren Kelly Wassum, Kevin Wassum and wife Corrie, Brian Parry and wife Heather, Kristine Sprague and husband Jon, by her great grandchildren Maximus Wassum, Andrew, Hannah and Katherine Parry, and Alex and Noah Sprague.
Barbara and her late husband loved to travel, traveling to hundreds of countries. She continued her travels even after the passing of her husband. She was very involved in the Mystic Women's Club, volunteered at the Mystic Noank Library and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Funeral services will be private for Barbara’s family.
