Helene A. Santwer, age 68 of Lawrence passed away on January 10, 2016 at the Wingate at Andover Nursing Home. Helene was born in Lowell on June 23, 1947 to the late Walter J. and Helen T. (Clancy) Santwer. She was a graduate of Lowell High School, Class of 1965 and a graduate of Lemuel Shattuck School of Nursing, Class of 1967. Ms. Santwer worked as a nurse at Lawrence General Hospital, Holy Family Hospital, Dr. Stephen Scully’s practice, and Dr. Robert Kellan’s practice.
Helene was the dear sister of Walter J. Santwer and his wife Wilma of Sacramento, CA, and Mary Teresa Santwer of Lawrence. She is also survived by many cousins, nephews and a niece.
