
Sr. Doris Paradis, PM, (Sister Ste Therese-Marie), 94, of the Sisters of Presentation of Mary in Manchester died January 8, 2016 at her residence.
She was born in Quincy, MA on January 23, 1921, the daughter of Pamphile and Yvonne (Groleau) Paradis. She made her final profession to the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary on March 2, 1943.
Sr. Ste Therese-Marie received her bachelor’s degree in French from Rivier University in Nashua. She taught in numerous elementary schools in Rhode Island, Maine, and New Hampshire.
She was predeceased by her parents; a sister, Sister Emilienne Paradis, PM, from Prince Albert, Canada; three brothers, Raymond and Rene Paradis from Manchester, Ernest Paradis from Houston, TX.
Survivors include several nephews, nieces, and cousins including Sr. Jeanne-Elizabeth, PM, (Lorette Paradis), Methuen, MA.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 in the Resurrection Chapel of St. Marie Residence, 495 Mammoth Road, Manchester. Burial will be in Presentation of Mary Cemetery in Hudson.
