Obituary

Gilmanton----Adam Alexander Moorehead, 32, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 6, 2016.
Adam was born on February 16, 1983 in Laconia New Hampshire, the son of Shane and Kathleen (Langley) Moorehead. He was a graduate of Gilford High School class of 2001. He grew up in Gilmanton. He would be the first one to offer a hug instead of a hand shake and had the ability to make every person he met feel like the most important person in the world.
Adam greatest joy was being with his daughter Madelyn. He taught her how to ice fish, they loved going for walks which he always made an adventure. They took many trips to the ocean together and loved sharing a bowl of SpagettiOs or a peanut butter and fluff.
Adam's nieces will always remember him for his dance parties, throwing them in the air, ‘just one more time' no matter how tired he was, and playing hide-n-seek.

Adam and his brothers had a bond unlike any other. They spent many summer vacations together digging the deepest holes they could on the beach, laughing for hours, wrestling, riding bikes, building forts, and just being together. Once while on vacation in Florida Adam and Alex spent hours pretending to fall and get into fake bicycle accidents, photographing each other laughing hysterically.
His sense of humor and warm heart will be missed by all who knew him.
Adam is survived by his parents, his paternal grandparents Carl and Jeanine Moorehead, his maternal grandfather Donald Langley Sr., the light in his life Madelyn, his daughter and, her mother Robbyn. His older brother Nicholas and wife Martha, His younger brother Alex and fiancée Kayla, his nieces Sydney and Shelby, several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother Dorothy Mae Langley.
There will be no calling hours.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday January, 11, 2016 at 2:00pm at the Gilmanton Community Church in the corners. A celebration of life will immediately follow also at the Church.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations may be in Adam's Memory to his daughter, Madelyn Moorehead, P.O. Box 446, Gilmanton, NH 03237.
