
Kenneth George Smith
Kenneth George Smith, 55, of Annis Drive died Thursday afternoon, June 9, 2005 at Lakes Region General Hospital. Born in Concord, NH on May 8, 1950 he was the son of the late Everett L. and Phyllis Mae (Braley) Smith, and had been a resident of Laconia and Gilford for most of his life.
Kenneth was employed by Newcon Builders, Inc in Laconia for over 20years. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
Kenneth was a longtime member of the Laconia Rod & Gun Club, a life member of the Laconia Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 1670 and the American Legion Post 1 in Laconia.
He was predeceased by a brother Steve Smith.
Survivors include two sons, Charles F. Smith of Belmont, NH, and Joseph D. Smith of Florida. Four brothers Bob Champaign of Seabrook, NH, Everett Smith of Bristol, NH, Michael Smith of Belmont, NH, and Greg Smith of Meredith, NH. Four sisters, Linda Moore of Laconia, NH, Carmen Bean of Pittsfield, NH, Jennifer Smith of Laconia, and Vanessa Smith of New Hampton, NH. Kenneth is also survived by several, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services with Military Honors were held Tuesday June 14, 2005 at 11:00 am at the State Veteran’s Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Rte. 3, Boscawen, NH. There were no visiting hours. The Simoneau-Paquette Memorial Home, 139 Church Street, Laconia, is assisting the family.
