Obituary

WORCESTER-Violet A. (LaTulippe) Casey, 93, died peacefully Saturday June 11th in the care of her 5 children and very a special granddaughter, Colleen Cattaneo of Spencer. Her husband Daniel F. Casey died in 1966. She is survived by her 5 children and their spouses; Patricia and William Westerlind of Auburn, Jean Cronin of West Boylston, William and Eileen Casey of Spencer, James and Karen Casey of Boylston and Daniel and Mary Casey of West Newbury, VT. She also leaves 17 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, 3 great great-grandchildren, and a dear friend William Robidoux who helped her tremendously in recent years. She was predeceased by a grandchild.

She was born in Auburn the daughter of Joseph and Aurilie (Courville) LaTulippe. Violet was a capable and active 93 year old and lived independently until her recent illness, and would have celebrated her 94th birthday on June 15th. The family thanks VNA Hospice Care who made it possible for her to spend her last days at home where she was most comfortable.

The funeral is Tuesday, June 14th, from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph’s Church, 189 Oxford Street, Auburn. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday, June 13th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
