Rita M. Gagnon, 85, of Manchester, NH died June 10, 2005, at Catholic Medical Center after a sudden illness.
Born in Laconia, NH February 15, 1920, she was the daughter of Joseph and Marie (Perreault) Boisclair. She was educated in Catholic schools in Laconia, Suncook, and Manchester, NH. She had been a Manchester, NH resident most of her life.
She was married to Wilfrid E. Gagnon Sr., who died in 1988.
Family members include nine children, Wilfrid E. Gagnon Jr., of Northboro, MA, Rev. Raymond E. Gagnon, pastor of St. Paul Church, Franklin, NH, Diane Cook of El Dorado, CA, Paul Gagnon of Worcester, MA, Jeanne Maloney of Webster, MA, Gloria Bolduc of Manchester, NH, Joseph Gagnon of Allenstown, NH, Andre Gagnon of Deltona, FL, and Marie Gagnon of Manchester, NH; 16 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; a sister, Alice Lavoie of Epping, NH; nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday June 14, 2005 at St. Anthony Church, 172 Belmont St., Manchester. Burial followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
