Obituary

DOLHERT- Of Chelsea, June 9th, Lydia T. Daughter of the late Deonisi and Theodora (Lubermuk) Dolhert. Beloved sister of Edward Dolhert of Dorchester and the late Olga Walach. Devoted aunt of Dennis Walach of Peabody, Paula Walach of Peabody, Nancy and Mary Dolhert of Dorchester and Leonard Dolhert of Maryland. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Monday morning, June 13th at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Liturgy in Nativity of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church, 8 Addison Street, Chelsea at 9 o’clock. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-6 PM with Panikhida Service at 5:30 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Late United States Navy Nurse Corps WWII Veteran.

A life long resident of Chelsea, Lydia, age 85, passed away Thursday evening at the Ledgewood Rehab and Skilled Care Center after a long illness. A 1937 graduateof Chelsea High School, she was also a graduate of the Whidden Memorial Hospital School of Nursing as well as the School of Anesthetsia in Jamaica, New York. A United States Navy Nurse Corp. Veteran of World War II, after discharge she worked for over 35 years in the anesthetia Dept. of the Salem Hospital.
