Geraldine M. (Feola) Campbell, 82, of North Andover, MA, passed away after a short illness surrounded by her loving family on Monday, December 28, 2015 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA.
Gerry was the beloved wife of Chester Campbell of North Andover, MA. She is also survived by her son James Witzgall and wife Annemarie of North Reading, MA, daughters Julie Quinlan and husband William of North Andover, MA, Heidi Kaplan and husband Jon of Windham, NH, and Susan Keith and husband Glenn of Salem, NH. Gerry leaves her loving grandchildren David Quinlan, Kelly (Quinlan) Grasso, Jillian and Abby Keith, Lauren Witzgall and Daniel Kaplan and her treasured great-grandsons William and Brody who brought her so much happiness. She was predeceased by her son Jack Witzgall and her sister Elizabeth Marsh. Gerry is also survived by her sister, Pauline Deneu and husband Frank of Manchester, NH and many nieces and nephews. In addition, she leaves stepchildren Joan Noyes, Nancy Chaisson, John, Tim and Peter Campbell.
Gerry was born in Lawrence, MA, to Anthony and Adeline Feola. She graduated as the valedictorian of St. Mary’s High School, Lawrence, MA. She attended McIntosh Business School and worked as an executive secretary at Western Electric, North Andover, MA, for many years.
Gerry was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She was a kind and gentle woman who was admired for her deep faith in God and her compassion for others.
Gerry loved listening to music, talking about current events, eating out at her favorite restaurants, visiting the beach and going to Mass at St. Michael’s Church. She was a longtime member of the Servants of Jesus Christ Crucified Our Risen Saviour prayer group. The pastime that brought her the most joy was laughing and spending time with her children, grandchildren and especially her great-grandsons.
ARRANGEMENTS: Calling hours will be held on Sunday, January 3rd from 4 pm to 7 pm at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, 35 Merrimack Street, North Andover. Her Funeral Mass will be on Monday, January 4th at 10 am at St. Michael’s Church, 196 Main Street, North Andover. A private burial for Family will be held at a later date.
