Florence Louise (Crouse) Marsh

Florence Louise (Crouse) Marsh, 93, of Anderson, died Dec. 26, 2015 at Community Hospital of Anderson after a brief illness.
She was born January 16, 1922 in Canton, Ohio, the daughter of Margaret Pearl (Austin) and Clyde Brian Crouse.
Florence was a faithful member of St. Mary's Church and was a graduate of St. Mary's High School. One of Florence's most proud achievements was graduating from St. Vincent's School of Nursing and becoming a Registered Nurse. She was a nurse at Delco Remy while working at Plants 3, 17 and most of her 21 years at Plant 20.
Florence was an avid walker at Shadyside Lake and was an inspiration and friend to many walkers. In 2000, she became an honorary member of the Anderson Roadrunner's Club.
Florence was a loving mother and grandmother to her sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Many friends considered her to be their mom or grandma because of her sweet, kindly nature and acceptance of everyone. She will be sadly missed by all.
Survivors include her three sons, Michael (Vicki) Marsh, Vincent (Tangela) Marsh and James Marsh all of Anderson; seven grandchildren, Ryan Marsh, Lyndsay Ortwine, Brett Marsh, Holley Carey, Vincent W. Marsh, Ashley King and Amber Marsh; seven great-grandchildren, Ethan and Nolan Ortwine, Noelle and Cooper Carey, Layla and Cambri King and Landon Little.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Tom I. Marsh and her brother, William "Bill" Crouse.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 3 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Shine officiating. Entombment will be in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Nursing Honor Memorial Service at 2:15 p.m.
