In Brockton of Raynham, December 17, 2015 Alice (DeCoste) Sargent wife of the late Elmer R. Sargent died at Good Samaritan Medical Center at the age of 80. Born and educated in Chelsea, Alice was the daughter of the late Anthony and Florence (Malanson) DeCoste. Alice was the former food manager for the Raynham Dog Track. She also was a member of the St Ann’s Woman’s guild in Raynham and enjoyed playing bingo. Alice was the mother of Richard Sargent and his wife Carol of Taunton, Donna Roche of East Taunton, James Sargent and his wife Nora of Raynham and Kathleen Macedo of Raynham. Grandmother of ten grandchildren and the late Eden Macedo. Great grandmother of sixteen. Sister of Elaine Moore of RI, Betty Furbish of Bellingham, MA and the late Sonny, George, Bobby, Kenny and Joseph DeCoste. Calling hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton Sunday January 3rd from 2-5 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 4, 2016 at 11 am. at St. Ann’s Church in Raynham. Interment will be private.
