Buford J. Walker, 81, of Snellville, Georgia, died Wednesday, June 8, 2005.
Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, June 11, 2005, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, in Snellville, with Bishop Bill Doll officiating. Graveside services will be held at 5 PM, Saturday, June 11 at Evergreen Cemetery, Fitzgerald. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7 until 9 at the Tom M Wages Funeral Home in Snellville.
Mr. Walker was born February 17, 1924 to the late George and Georgia Hobbs Walker. He served in the United States Army during World War II.
He is survived by his daughter, Betty Ann Kumin of Lilburn; son & daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Jane Walker of Byron; sisters, Ida Carver of Orange Park, FL, Edna Moore of Gainesville and Joyce Zakro of Atlanta; grandchildren, B.J. Walker, III, Forrest Walker, Jacob Walker, Kristen Bouchard, Megan Vasey; great-grandchildren, Lily Grace Walker, Colin Bouchard, Ava Walker and Caleb Bouchard. He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Adams Walker.
