LINDA MARIE STINSON, 63, passed away peacefully at her home on December 23, 2015 surrounded by her family.
She was formerly employed by Jefferson Fiscal Court Finance Department, the Archdiocese of Louisville and Jewish Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William C. and Mary Rose Ebersold.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, William “Artie” Stinson, daughters, Emily Anne Rickert (Joe), Amy Elizabeth Basham (Derrick), a son, William Patrick Stinson (Jessica); six grandchildren, Nathan and Alex Rickert, Max and Kate Basham, and Emma Rose and Liam Stinson; as well as her siblings, Jerry Ebersold of Charlestown, Ind., Pat Ebersold of Palmyra, IN., Bob “Boo” Ebersold (LeeAnn) of Georgetown, IN., Mary “Bee” Wheatley (Kevin), and Karen Fulkerson (Jon).
Visitation will be on Sunday, December 27, 2015 from Noon – 8 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
Her funeral Mass will be on Monday, December 28, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 1925 Lewiston Drive with burial at St. Andrew Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Linda’s honor to St. Lawrence Church, 1925 Lewiston Drive, Louisville, KY. 40216.
