Edna “Anne” Moy, a long-time resident of Dedham, MA, passed away on December 21, 2015. She was the beloved sister of Rosamond “Lucy” Wong of Framingham; Chui Sheng Moy of Chicago; and William and George Moy, both of Dedham. She was the devoted daughter of the late Bark Let Moy and the late Chin Shee Moy.
Anne was born in Boston, MA and grew up in Boston’s Dorchester neighborhood. After graduating from Jeremiah E. Burke High School, Anne went on to have an extensive career as a multi-talented legal and executive secretary, first starting out at a small law firm and eventually transitioning into corporate law for Pneumo Abex Corporation, Verizon and Key Span.
Anne also leaves behind her beloved brother-in-law James Wong and loving nieces and nephews; Susan Wong-Gibbons and Richard Gibbons Jr.; Steven and Andrea Wong; Pooi Kiegert; and Ho Yin, Nancy, and John Moy; in addition to her numerous grandnieces and nephews, great-grandniece, cousins and close friends. She is predeceased by her nephew, the late Frank Moy.
Anne was most devoted to her family and friends. She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, and traveling with her sister Lucy.
At Anne’s request, the funeral and burial was a private event for family only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 125 S. Huntington Ave, Boston, MA 02130.
