CHICOPEE – Ronald R. Chouinard, 61, of the Aldenville section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Friday, December 18, 2015. He passed into Eternal Life at his home surrounded by the care and comfort of his loving family. He was born in New Britain, Connecticut on January 27, 1954, a beloved son of Loretta C. (Langevin) Chouinard of Chicopee and the late Roger R. Chouinard. At a young age, his family moved to the Willimansett Heights section of Chicopee where he was raised. He lived and raised his family in Chicopee Falls and moved to the Aldenville section of Chicopee in 2007. Ronald was a tractor trailer operator and drove for many companies including SS Pierce, which later became Kraft Food Service. His passion was motorcycles and he actually built his first motorcycle from junk parts. Ron and his son later built a beautiful custom motorcycle from a kit which he treasured. Most of all, he was a simple man who loved his family and was the life of all the parties. He leaves his beloved wife and best friend, Carol M. (Perrier) Chouinard. They were married on September 17, 1977 at Sainte Rose de Lima Church in Chicopee and were blessed with over 38 years of happiness together.
