Mrs. Agnes E. (Hauck) Cabana, of Taunton, died Thursday, December 17 in Marian Manor following a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late William T. Cabana. She was born 96 years ago in Boston, the daughter of the late James and Agnes (Weisslinger) Hauck. She was educated in Taunton and was a graduate of Lesley College in Cambridge. Agnes had been a Taunton resident for most of her life. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed as a Quality Control inspector for Texas Instruments in Attleboro for 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She was a communicant of the former Immaculate Conception Parish in Taunton.
She leaves: 1 son: William J. Cabana and his wife, Mary of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; 1 daughter: Carol Bowen and her husband Neil of New Bedford; 1 sister: Dorothy Walford of Wareham; 2 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Agnes was also the sister of the late Ruth Arguin and James Hauck.
Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Tuesday, December 22 at 10:30 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Jude the Apostle Church at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be in the Mass. National Cemetery, Bourne. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A Visiting Hour will precede the funeral, Tuesday, from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M.
