FALL RIVER – Jose Luis Cabral a.k.a. “Saca de Farinha”, age 53, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015 at St. Anne’s Hospital. Born in Rabo de Peixe, São Miguel, Açores, he was the son of the late Jose Cabral Palráo & Virginia de Jesus (Terceira Sousa) and the husband of Adriena (Vieira) Cabral. Prior to retiring, Jose worked for North American Rubber Co. as a line inspector. He was a parishioner of St. Michael Church.
In addition to his wife of Fall River, he is survived by his children: Susette, Steve, & Kristen Cabral all of Fall River; siblings: Ludrias, Domingos, & Antonio Cabral all of São Miguel, Açores and Madalina Vieira of Fall River; 3 granddaughters, 1 grandson, several brother in laws, sister in laws, and nieces & nephews.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Saturday here at 8:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael’s Church at 9:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
