Kenneth P. Mason, 47 of Salem, died unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, December 9, 2015. Born in Cambridge he was the son of the late James C. and Rosemary (Regnere) Mason.
Raised in Lynn, he lived most of his adult life in Salem. At a very young age he developed a passion for cars and especially fixing and rebuilding them. He took great pride and joy in his work as a mechanic. He will be remembered for his love of cooking, his sense of humor and his smile. His belief in God supported his through struggles and ultimately gave him peace. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his former wife Sonya Mason, their daughters, Natasha, Brianna and Katelyn Mason, his grandchildren, Jordan, Natalia and Lilyana Pimentel, his sister Louise Southmayd and husband Cliff.
He also leaves his niece Susan Stewart and husband Matthew , nephew Michael Perry and companion Aida Alceyan.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Route 114 /1-A] Salem from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. with a vigil service to take place at 7:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society through St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 1 Margin St., Peabody, MA 01960.
