Obituary

Albert Henry Couillard, 69, died Friday, November 27, 2015 in Rhode Island Hospital.

Born in Attawaugan, Connecticut, he was a son of the late Harry Greenhalgh and Emma Mary Couillard.

Albert served three tours in Vietnam with distinction in the United States Air Force, before returning to the United States to work as a plane mechanic on Air Force One. He served under three presidents during his twenty-two years of service. He also worked in Circle K Regional Management Company.

Albert was a member of the NRA and Patchaug Outdoor Gun Club. He was an active man with many hobbies and interests to which he devoted his time, namely photography and gun-smithing, as well as travelling to visit historical monuments and museums. He was a sponsor of the Smithsonian and Mount Vernon, most notably, among several other charities to which he devoted his time and money.

Albert is survived by his son, Craig Couillard, as well as many other beloved family, friends and neighbors in the Rhode Island and Connecticut area.
