Rita H. Shea age 87 of Canton passed away December 13th at the Hellenic Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Haverhill, she graduated from Haverhill High School and has lived in Canton since 1974. She was a devoted homemaker and mother that enjoyed reading and painting in her free time. Beloved wife of the late Howard F. Mother of Howard Shea, Jr. and his wife Sharon of NH, Carol Tremblay and her husband Mike of Lowell, Sue Gonsalves and her husband Gary of Franklin, Dan Shea and his wife Kathy of Raynham and John Shea and his wife Katy of Taunton. Sister of Henry Archambault of New Orleans, Leona Varrichioni of Milton and she was predeceased by 1 sister and 5 brothers. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Wednesday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. Gerard Majella Church Canton Thursday morning at 10. Burial private.
