Bruce M. Cole, 75, of Londonderry, NH passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at the Bedford Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Bedford, NH. He was born on June 10, 1940 in Amherst, MA, a son of the late William and Ruth E. (Murray) Cole Jr. A native of Amherst, MA, he was educated in its public schools, furthering his education with a College GED and night school at New Hampshire College. Enlisting in the Marine Corps in 1959, Bruce was stationed at domestic and foreign bases and was honorably discharged in 1965. A sales career followed, primarily with Treasure Masters Corporation in northern New England and his own gift-sales company.
He is survived by his wife Jackie (White) Cole of Londonderry, his daughter Tracey Bachand and her husband John and their daughter Ruth of Allenstown, NH, one son Terry Cole and his daughter Alyssa of Epping, NH, one brother, William Cole III of Seattle, WA, niece, Wendy Jordan of Sacramento, CA, as well as good friends Janice Greene of Hudson, NH and Vicky Turgeon of Epping, NH. He was predeceased by his nephew and namesake, Bruce L. Cole.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at 2:00pm in the First Baptist Church, 236 Central Street, Hudson, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, Gift Processing Administrator, 18251 Quantico Gateway Drive, Triangle, VA 22172 or to one’s local Humane Society.
