Gregory E. Morey, 61, of Momence, Il. Formerly of Stoughton, Ma. passed away on December 2nd 2015. Greg was born and raised in Boston, Ma. Beloved son, of the late George E. and Margaret M Morey, brother to the late John Morey, uncle to the late Patrick Padgett, and grand uncle to the late Kai Rezendes. Greg, is survived by sisters, Lyn Thrum of El Paso, Tx, Susan Padgett of Ludlow, Ma. and Margaret Micale of Mansfield, Ma. also Brothers in law James Thrum, Al Micale and honorary brother in law John Martowski, long time partner of Susan; as well as nieces, Colette Bell of Plymouth, Kerri Padgett of Grafton , and Liz Micale of Mansfield and grandnephew's Patrick and Casey Bell. Greg was part of the Good Shepherd Family for many years, and leaves behind his family and friends there, as well as his friends in the BAARC & SAEC. Greg celebrated his life with music, dance and food. Greg’s, loving and open spirit spread joy to so many, and leaves us with wonderful memories and stories that will live on, much as his spirit, forever. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visiting hour on December 12, at Dockray and Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington St. Canton, MA. between the hours 9 to 10 am. to be followed by a funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Church, 700 Washington ST. Canton at 10:30 am. Greg, will be laid to rest at the Canton Corner Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Greg’s memory can be made to Good Shepherd Manor, PO Box 260, Momence, Il. 60954
