Olivia Meinholt, age 95 years, passed away Monday, November 30, 2015 in Fort Myers, FL. She was the widow of Walter R. Meinholt of Philadelphia, PA. and the daughter of the late Manuel and Rosa (Cambra) Couto. Born in Fall River, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life.
Olivia is survived by her daughter Janet Plummer and her husband Bruce, her son Kenneth Meinholt and his wife Susan; grandchildren Michelle Davis, Kristen Plummer, Bruce Plummer, Jeremy Plummer, Kelley Long and Katie Meinholt; great-grandchildren Victoria Davis, Elizabeth Davis, Greta Long and Isabella Plummer; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of Leontina (Couto) Lima, the late Mary (Couto) Paiva, the late Manuel Couto, the late Joseph Couto and the late John Couto .
Olivia attended First Assembly of God in Fort Myers, FL and Christian Fellowship Center in New Bedford, MA. She loved her family deeply and loves her Lord and Savior with all her heart.
Her funeral will be Wednesday beginning in the funeral home at 9:30 A.M. with a service at Christian Fellowship Center at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Tuesday evening from 5 – 8 P.M. Note: If you are going to be in the funeral procession, see Kenneth Meinholt for car procession order details. The funeral procession, will head to Christian Fellowship Center on Church Street, for the service. A meal to honor Olivia's life, will follow, at Peking Garden on Faunce Corner Road in North Dartmouth, across from the Dartmouth Mall.....please specify when you enter the buffet, that you are with the Meinholt group.
