CHICOPEE – Janice M. Camerlin, 61, of the Fairview section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Friday, November 27, 2015. She was born in Holyoke on March 20, 1954, a beloved daughter of Mary E. (Martin) Camerlin of West Springfield and the late Paul H. Camerlin who was Called Home on December 18, 2005. She was raised in Holyoke, attended the former Precious Blood High School until it closed and graduated from Holyoke High School. She furthered her education and graduated from Dean Vocational Technical School in Holyoke. She became a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked at Holyoke Hospital. She was later employed as a mail handler at the Bulk Mail Center in Indian Orchard. Besides her beloved mother, she leaves her two loving sisters, Lynn A. Camerlin and Nancy E. Camerlin, both of Chicopee; her loving brother and sister-in-law, Paul M. Camerlin and his wife, Beth Dalton, of Granbury, TX; and her cherished nephew, Marshall Camerlin of Texas. She also leaves numerous aunts, uncles and cousins including her dear aunt, Jeannette Rael of South Hadley. Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. followed by a Prayer Service at 11 a.m. at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Fairview Chapels, (413-533-3307), 506 Britton Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
