Faith L. Bishop
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, December 1, 2015, Ms. Faith L. Bishop, 76.
Mrs. Bishop was born in Africa while her family was working in the Mission Field. She lived in the Augusta area for many years. Ms. Bishop was a member of and taught Sunday School at Christ Episcopal Church. She was a teacher and librarian and retired from John Milledge School after 30 years of teaching. She enjoyed reading and art as well as painting.
Family members include sons: R. Mark Athey and wife Lori of Roanoke,TX, D. Gregg Athey and wife Wendy of Fort Polk, LA and Thomas E. Athey of Elizabethtown, KY; grandchildren: Robert Athey, Alex Athey, Jeff Athey and Tristan Athey; sister: Love Hinshaw and brother: Jim Leonard.
A memorial service will be Friday, December 4, 2015 at 6:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son with Jim Leonard officiating.
