On the early morning of November 25, 2015, Bob passed away peacefully, while being attended by familiar staff members at Eagle Pond Nursing Home in South Dennis, MA. Bob was 60 years old.
Bob was born in New Britain, CT on September 27, 1955. He was the middle child, second son, of Barbara Beckett and Bradford Hill Scott.
Bob graduated from Northfield Mount Herman Prep School, and then went on to college at Miami of Ohio University, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts. He studied Theology and Psychology.
Bob enjoyed skiing, sailing, and woodworking. He worked many years in the Sailboat industry, and in his later years of life enjoyed working in his wood shop.
He left a profound impression on everyone he met as being a kind man with a big heart. He loved his family. His presence will be deeply missed.
He is preceded in death by his Mother, Barbara (Fitch) Beckett, Father, Bradford Hill Scott, Step-father George Beckett, and Step-Mother Virginia Scott.
Bob is survived by his children; Bradford (Maureen) Scott, Heather Scott, and step-daughter Kaitlan (TJ) Barron. Brothers; Bill (Ellen) Scott, Gary Scott, and Step-Sister Jennifer Beckett. Grandchildren; Logan Scott, Brooklyn Barron, and Peyton Barron. Special thanks to Eagle Pond Nursing Home.
There will be a Memorial Service on December 17 at 12 noon at Dennis Union Church, 713 Main Street and Old Bass River Road, Dennis, MA 02368.
