Obituary

STANDISH- Julie Lin Smith, age 47, passed away on Nov. 29, 2015 at her home.
She was born on March 23, 1968, a daughter of the late Linwood and Nancy (Buckley) Graffam, and graduated from Bonny Eagle High School.
Julie will always be remembered for her love of family and horses. She enjoyed horseback riding, being involved with the Steep Falls Farmers Market, and participating in fund raising events for St. Judes Children's Research Hospital.
Many people often casually say that they are “living the dream”; however, Julie actually lived her dream and was successful at it. Julie always wanted to own and operate her own farm and meat business that she started herself. This is exactly what she did! Julie enjoyed all aspects of farming and poured her soul into it. Farming became her true passion and anyone who knew her understood how hard she would work to make her dream come to reality.
She is predeceased by a son- Tim Smith Jr.; and her second dad and mentor- Wilmot “Bill” Lewis.
Julie is survived by her beloved husband- Timothy Smith Sr.; daughters- Tasha Smith of Standish and Karie Smith of Buxton; and siblings- Brenda Dillo and Gary Smith.
