John W. Mann age 83 of Sharon passed away peacefully November 28, 2015 at the Norwood Hospital. Born in Norwood, he was a lifelong resident of Sharon and graduated from Sharon High School, Wentworth Institute and Northeastern University, where he received the Technology Award in 1980. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. He worked for Polaroid Corp. for many years and retired in 1993. John was a laid back family man that enjoyed spending time with his family Loving husband for 52 years of Anne (Pike). Dear dad of Derek Mann and his wife Melissa of Taunton and Jillian Potts and her husband Geoffrey of Mansfield. Much loved grampa “Pungie” of Lauren and Christopher Potts. Brother of Helen M. Mower of Wareham and the late William R. Mann, Jr. Relatives and friends invited to attend a funeral service at the First Congregational Church Sharon Thursday morning at 11 am.
