Elaine B. (Macko) McFetridge, 79, of Bellingham, died Thursday, November 26, 2015 at the UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester. She was the beloved wife of Donald B. McFetridge who died in 2001.
Born in Medway on August 2, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Monica (Perkins) Macko.
Mrs. McFetridge was a resident of Bellingham since 1985, formerly resided in Millis, and graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Milford.
She worked at the Natick Labs for many years and had previously worked at the Li’l Peach in Millis.
Mrs. McFetridge was an active member of the Bellingham Senior Center.
She is survived by three daughters, Evelyn Corbett and her husband Thomas of Millis, MaryEllen McFetridge of Bellingham and Laurie Leeman and her husband David of Medway, a brother Bernard Macko of Alabama, and four grandchildren, Michael Corbett, Melissa Magnone and Erin and Kathleen Leeman.
She was also the loving great-grandmother and “gigi” of Damian, Michaela, Ryan, Jenna and Brooklyn and also is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was the sister of the late Charles Macko, Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, December 1 from 12 - 2 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com). Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Medway.
